‘La Grande Soiree’ is a vocal/jazz manouche project featuring original compositions written and arranged by jazz vocalist, Julie O’Hara, performed by an outstanding ensemble of musicians. Modern lyricism and a focus on vocal improvisation create an innovative and contemporary feel to this niche genre. Swinging blues, tangos and a myriad of love songs, including Django Reinhardt songs with original vocalese lyrics.
