Art lovers have the rare opportunity to view iconic artist Leon Pericles’ latest works at his solo exhibition, Taming a Tumultuous Palette, between 27 May and 19 June at Linton & Kay Galleries in Subiaco.

The exhibition from the acclaimed West Australian artist will feature the 73-year-old’s latest painting, mixed media and etching works, exploring translucency, layers and colours, the power and subtlety of transparent and opaque, and the tumultuous palette in between.

Pericles’ solo exhibitions are much anticipated, and this will be his first in WA since a 50 Year Retrospective in 2018. This exhibition will feature all new and one-off works, including his latest etching, Seconds Before Goff & Sue’s Life Changed Forever.

Pericles is acclaimed nationally and internationally, and his work is held in numerous major public and private collections. This is a fantastic opportunity to see his unique works up close and be inspired by his trademark style.

The Taming a Tumultuous Palette exhibition will be held at Linton & Kay Galleries at 299 Railway Road (Cnr. Nicholson Road) in Subiaco.
