Let's Sing Together - Get Online Week

This event will be a great opportunity for CALD seniors to participate in multicultural event with numerous recreational and culturally diverse activities. The project will be run by bilingual staff to support in language needs and cultural inclusion, so participants might find it comfortable and be willing to express themselves. We will bring them music, aerobic activities, dancing and moreover, taking a lot of nice photos which will be good memory in your ageing life.
There are some activities we will arrange as following:
10am - 11am - Part 1: Information session about how to use and create accounts in some useful apps on smartphone such as YouTube, Facebook etc.
• Learn some camera features to record and take photos
• How to navigate and search music, videos, and songs on YouTube
11am - 11:30am: After this introduction session, we will provide morning tea for seniors.
11:30am - 1pm - Part 2: we will let elderly search and pick favourite songs to sing together through Karaoke videos.
• Seniors will enjoy singing and fellow's music performance.
• Later, we will invite all of you to do some aerobic exercises following the instruction videos on YouTube. By this way, we can motivate seniors can do more recreational activities at home on your own.
1pm – 2pm: Light lunch will be provided.
