Marionettes & Memories

In celebration of Seniors Week 2022, we are inviting our older audience members and supporters of Spare Parts to join us for a morning tea and to help us make a new show!

We are beginning work on a new project based on Mem Fox’s beloved book Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge, which explores the ways in which objects can be the vessels of special memories. To help us do this, we would love to hear your stories and try some activities with you that explore objects and memory. We’d also like to give you the opportunity to try using some of our beautiful puppets for yourself, with some guidance from our artistic staff.

Please join us for a cup of tea, some hands-on puppet play, conversation and exploration. Please bring an object with you that holds a special memory to share.

This is a free event, however spots are limited and bookings are essential.
