Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Gala

The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to present an intimate showcase of some of Western Australia’s brightest young musical talents. Sensational young cellist MetSO Artist Max Wung will be appearing as part of our Young Artists program 10th Anniversary celebrations, along with our fantastic 2021 Young Artists: Jesse Chester Browne (Soprano), Lachlan Higgins (Baritone), Keaton Staszewski-Hose (Baritone), Zoe McGivern (Trumpet) and Kaining Wang (Pianist). On stage alongside our Artists is wonderful Perth Concert Pianist and MetSO Conductor Raymond Yong.

We have a fabulous program in store for you, featuring a string of musical pearls by Bach, Chopin, Mozart, Strauss, Grieg, Schubert, Faure, & Bozza - to name but a few - to bring a little light and sparkle to difficult times (the heart of the arts).

The Orchestra also celebrates its 45th Anniversary, a wonderful milestone for both MetSO and community music in Perth.
