Museum of Curiosities

Tucked away amongst our regular displays will be various items from our vast collection, some going back 100 years, most of which are no longer used. Some you might recognise – but all will arouse your curiosity and you will leave with a better knowledge of life in the “good old days”.

Come, visit and see how many you can recognise. If you don’t know what they are, ask our knowledgeable volunteers. Learn how, when and why they were used.

Bring your grandchildren and talk to them about your memories of growing up amongst these objects.
