Music of Matthew Minter in March Market Sunday Concert

The next Music on a Market Sunday Concert on 27 March at 12:30pm in the Armidale Uniting Church will feature the music of Matthew Minter. Matthew is a highly talented local composer perhaps best known as the Director of Music at PLC.

The program will include L’Arabesque (piano left hand), Under the Velvet Glass (violin and piano), A Shepherd’s song (recorder sextet), which recently gained second place in the Orpheus Music Composition Competition, and Quartet in G Major (wind ensemble). Performers include Matthew Minter, Eliza Scott, Sharon Davidge, Li Leng Chen, Tobias Armstrong, James Mackay, Kate Boyd, Fiona MacDonald, Celia Munro, Nikki Murcell, Lena Schmalz and Benjamin Thorn

This is a great opportunity to hear some new music by a talented local composer.

Admission to the concert is free, though donations are encouraged (as is Covidsafe behaviour). Tea and sausages will be available at the church before the concert.
