Vocal Smorgasbord in Market Sunday Concert

The February Music on a Market Sunday Concert at 12:30 pm on 27 February in the Uniting Church offers a wonderful range of folk and classical songs. Georgina Thomas and Hamish Brown will sing songs by Mozart, Purcell, Scarlatti and Caccini as well as traditional songs and a set of Swedish folksongs performed on the Nyckelharpa (a relative of the hurdy-gurdy).

Georgina and Hamish are students of Sarah Adeney. and this is a good opportunity to hear a couple of emerging Armidale performers.

Admission to the concert is free, though donations are encouraged. Covidsafe distancing and requirements will apply.
