MZAZA showcase their phenomenal gift of reinventing folk traditions, exploring the Spanish-Sephardic, French and Balkan roots of the band. Multi-award winning MZAZA’s unique blend of folk inspires audiences internationally. Led by mesmerising French-Sephardic vocalist Pauline Maudy, these incredible musicians from Bosnia, Brazil, France, New Zealand and Australia harness Balkan and French influences to craft a musical ride that taps into the beating heart of humankind.

The impressive musicianship of MZAZA – deftly realised with accordion, violin, shah kaman, Spanish guitar, percussion, double bass – embraces diversity through timeless melodies fuelling an intense live show, an unforgettable musical journey.

‘Songlines Magazine’ calls their music “a cross-genre cornucopia, a giver of gifts both aural and cerebral... A supernova of an album”.
