Burntout Bookings presents Nicholas Cage Fighter, Vilify, ATLVS and Dewey at Bad Decisions Bar on Sunday May 22nd from 7:00pm.

NICOLAS CAGE FIGHTER is a 4 piece Metallic Hardcore band from Ballarat, Victoria. Forming in Ballarat, Victoria in 2011, the original line-up of NCF (Nicolas Cage Fighter) consisted of Harley Mcintosh (Vocals), Justin Ellis (Guitar), Tom Bardwell (Bass) and Matt Davenport (Drums). 2012 was spent playing regional shows in Victoria along with a one-off show in Canberra. After releasing two demos, the band released their Debut EP “3350” in June 2013. Recorded at Complex Studio in Melbourne and engineered by Roman Koester, a Music Video for their lead single Skulldrag was filmed by Will James.

With some members moving interstate NICOLAS CAGE FIGHTER disbanded in 2014. In this time, NCF shared the stage with the following bands ATTILA (USA), THY ART IS MURDER (AUS), THICK AS BLOOD (USA), IWRESTLEDABEARONCE (USA), I DECLARE WAR (USA), DEEZ NUTS (AUS), IN HEARTS WAKE (AUS), AVERSIONS CROWN (AUS), SAVIOUR (AUS), HELLIONS (AUS) WHORETOPSY (AUS) TAKEN BY FORCE (AUS) In 2019 the band reformed for a one off show in Ballarat with new vocalist Nick Moriarty. January 2020 saw the release of a two track single/demo HELL IN ME, recorded and mixed by Kye Blomeley, including tracks The Hell in Me and Fistful of Snakes. During this time Writing had begun for the “CAST YOU OUT” EP however, due to unforeseen circumstances, one week into the recording they were faced with a statewide lockdown due to Government imposed Covid Restrictions. Nevertheless, Recording commenced with Kye Blomeley at K.B Audio and mixed and mastered by Roman Koester. In September 2020 NCF released Black Jackal, which included a music video thanks to Jackson Webster from Melbourne, Victoria. With second single “Devil’s Head” being released in October 2020, NCF caught the eyes and ears of Promoters, Bookers and record labels across the globe and in February 2021 the band released the “CAST YOU OUT” EP and reviews of this ball-tearer of a release can be found below.
ATLVS are a 5 piece metalcore act from Melbourne, Australia. Forming late 2017 ATLVS hit the ground running playing as many shows as possible as they work to get their name out in the local scene. Getting the opportunity to play alongside acts such as Windwaker, Gravemind, Pridelands, Ocean sleeper and dream on dreamer to name a few. Since the bands inception ATLVS have built a loyal following. With the release of their debut Ep “Memoir” (2019) it opened the door for radio plays in both Australia and overseas. Also allowing the opportunity to tour Australia for the first time at the end of 2019. ATLVS were able to showcase their brutal sound and winning over the hearts of metal fans across the country. The end of tour brought with it the quintets first headline show, which completely sold out. Following up saw the release of “Sorrow” which solidified the heavy change that ATLVS was going through and would ultimately open up for the new material that ATLVS was about to bring.

VILIFY is a Newcastle based melodic hardcore band formed by of a group of friends who met within the local heavy music scene. The band consists of three members, vocalist Amy McIntosh (The Beautiful Monument, Liberties), drummer Kieran Jackson (SETMEONFIRE, Liberties) and guitarist Deni Hourihan (Cold Era). Together they’ve been sharing influences, developing their ideas and sound and eventually put a name to their effort in October 2020.

Dewey, a Melbourne based Punk Rock band, are the new punk rockers on the scene. Drawing influence from all over, Dewey sound as though they are straight out of the 90's! Their debut album 'Point of Break' is a relatable, energy-filled work, written and recorded by the lead singer and guitarist, 16 year old William Smith.
