North Brisbane Orchid Society Annual Show 2022

August is a great time of year to come along to an orchid show. The weather is fine and the flowers in the competition are spectacular and you might just find something special to buy in our Plant Sales. If you are a keen grower, a beginner or just want something for a special gift you will find ours are what you are looking for. There will be experienced growers around to advise you on the care of your new plant or plants and you will also have the chance to win some orchids in the great raffle which will be drawn at the close of the show. Light refreshments are available at reasonable prices which you can enjoy while seated near the lovely orchids on display. There will also be plenty of orchid pots, potting bark and other cultivation essentials available for purchase while you are there.

The Mt Coot-tha Gardens always have multiple displays in the grounds for you to visit while you are there and parking is free. If coming by Public Transport catch a 471 bus from the City and get off at stop 19 outside the Gardens. For other routes and departure times check with Translink. Buses also are welcomed so you could arrange a bus trip.

The cost of entry is a reasonable $4.00 for adults and children under 14 enter for free. Cash is welcome and we will also have eftpos facilities available if you prefer. We look forward to seeing you there.
