NEW YEAR'S EVE 2022 - EXCLUSIVE EVENT - SCARECROW & WILD DREAMERS - The Mellencamp & Ronstadt Show

Celebrate New Year’s Eve 2022 with 2 amazing bands, in an exclusive show, to the Matthew Flinders Hotel – performing classic hits of two American greats; both Rock and Roll Hall of Famers & multi award winning talents, Linda Ronstadt & John Mellencamp! The show will include a set each, of rock classics from each artist; plus mixed party classics from both bands combined, to see in the New Year.

Lisa Mio & the Wild Dreamers will kick off the night, performing rock classics from one of the most successful, awarded and versatile singers of all time, Linda Ronstadt. Due to the success of Linda’s albums from the 1970s, she became known as one of the world’s first female rock stars, and was often referred to as "the Queen of Rock" or the "First Lady of Rock." Linda Ronstadt is regarded as one of the finest and best-selling recording artists in the history of the industry. Ronstadt collaborated with a plethora of artists over the course of her long and illustrious music career, including The Rolling Stones, Bette Midler, Frank Zappa, Dolly Parton, Neil Young, and Johnny Cash, to name a few. Sadly Linda retreated from performing in the late 2000’s after receiving a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease & devastatingly was no longer able to sing.

The Wild Dreamers are passionate about preserving Linda’s legacy, showcasing Linda’s recordings & introducing her music to new audiences. Lisa Mio’s high regard of Linda is evident; arguably Melbourne’s truest version of Linda vocally, accompanied by Melbourne’s finest musicians, you’re guaranteed not to find a more sincere and outstanding Ronstadt experience!
