The whole family will enjoy New Year's Eve at Athol Lawn. Bring a picnic and enjoy a stress-free countdown to 2023 at Bradleys Head.

Athol Lawn is a wide expanse of lawn at the top of Bradleys Head in Sydney Harbour National Park. It's an ideal place for the family to enjoy New Year's Eve. There are views of the harbour skyline, but there aren't clear views of the Sydney Opera House or Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Enjoy the ambience in the park leading up to the spectacular midnight fireworks.

Some harbour and city skyline views from Athol Lawn are filtered or obstructed because of the tree canopy.
Bradleys Head is an alcohol-free and glass-free zone on New Year's Eve. Bag searches will be conducted before you enter the venue.
Drinking water is available. You can't buy food or drinks at Athol Lawn.
Tickets to Athol Lawn don't give you access to the Mast Precinct or the Amphitheatre at Bradleys Head.
Bradleys Head Road at Whiting Beach Road is closed to vehicles at 3pm.
The last ferry from Circular Quay leaves at 4.50pm, arriving at Taronga Zoo wharf at 5.10pm. There are no ferries running from Taronga Zoo wharf after 7pm. Take a bus if you're returning to the city at the end of the night. There will also be ferries from Taronga Zoo wharf at 12.50am and 1.50am to Cremorne Point and Circular Quay.
For general questions about this event, phone NSW National Parks on 1300 072 757.
