NYE: Shark Island Party

Join the New Year’s Eve party on Shark Island – it's a great way to see in 2023. Our DJs will keep the music pumping and the dance floor filled. Enjoy the dazzling fireworks from this prime location.

Soak up the summer island atmosphere on Shark Island, just 1km from the mouth of Rose Bay. Buy food and drinks on the island and relax as our DJs play music to warm up the night. Later on they'll provide the beats for the Shark Island dance floor, from house to disco, funk and soul.

You'll only stop dancing to take in Sydney's famous midnight fireworks. You'll have one of the most amazing views in Sydney Harbour National Park.

Ferries leave at 6.15pm and 7pm
This is a licensed event with a cash bar, and you can buy food (limited options).
You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
There's no BYO alcohol and bag searches will be conducted before you board the ferry.
Card facilities will be available at the bar and food outlet.
There are limits to what you can bring to Shark Island, because of the ferry's restricted carrying capacity. You can bring hand luggage that you can carry on your lap on the trip to the island.
