Open Mic | Teens and Tweens

3 years ago we started an open mic just for young musicians in Sydney and we’re still going strong! We love this event and we love the people who come along with us - young musicians and their families.

November 6 is our last event for 2022 and our 3rd birthday celebration, so if you've been planning to attend, now’s the time to sign up!

Our monthly open mic is a place for teens and tweens to perform, share their voice and get a taste of what it’s like to play in front of an audience. Each open mic begins with a host who introduces the performers and gives each performer an equal amount of time on stage. The majority of our audience are families who attend regularly to support their kids (and favourite venues) but we also see lots of other music lovers or keen listeners too.

Teen years can be tough and we want young people to know there's a space for them in their local community to perform without competition.
