Join us for a night of eclectic musical fun at the Marrickville Bowlo... pocketwatch have been added to this inner west specialty bill with Sonic Ctrl and The Marrakesh Club. The night will be opened by House of Monkeys and Wave and Curls. There will be something for everyone... come on down to the Bowlo and support local music!

pocketwatch are a teen rock band from Sydney NSW, that deliver high energy, melodic original rock and/or roll. Described by the I-94 Bar's Ed Garland as "forty minutes of bravado and youthful swagger" reminiscent of The Jam in 1977 & HUsker Du, pocketwatch are kicking goals in their first twelve months as a live act. With supports to Mick Medew, Steve Lucas's X and Leadfinger they have found their feet quickly and have graduated to headline spots quickly.

"It’s early days for pocketwatch but even in the last few months, they have become a force to be reckoned with."

Sonic CTRL is a Sydney-based foursome delivering anamorphic rock that is at once familiar and original. Blending hard edged guitar drive, sweet alt-pop melodies infused with a dash of acoustic groove and Sonic Ctrl use powerful vocals to create an energizing wall of sound with thrashy 90’s overtones.

Marrakesh Club are where Mediterranean traditions meet new music. An amazing multi-cultural experience of cross-cultural exchange within the realms of music and dance. Greek, Chinese and Mexican communities which come together through both traditional song and dance.

House of Monkeys are a teen soul, blues and funk band and whatever else they feel like.

Waves and Curls are an Indie folk trio featuring three teens from the inner-west
