World Red Cross Day is celebrated globally on 8 May, to remember the Principles, values and impact of the Red Cross Red Crescent movement around the world.

As 8th of May is also Mothers Day in Australia, we are hosting our celebration the following weekend. This event will be an informal expo of a range of Australian Red Cross activities, including:

Emergency Services
International Humanitarian Law
Migration
Membership and community action
Opportunities to have interesting conversations with a wide range of people interested in helping others.
The event is open to all Australian Red Cross members, volunteers, staff, donors, and supporters, and to everyone in the wider community who would like to learn more about Australian Red Cross.

A light afternoon tea will be supplied as part of this event.

To ensure adequate catering and to assist with managing numbers and other COVID-19 restrictions, registration is required.

COVID-19 protocols as required by the WA Government and Town of Cambridge at the time of the event will be applied. This may include requiring masks, checking vaccination certificates, QR code check-in, hand sanitiser use and/or other requirements.
