Songs Without

Memorable musical moments manifested from the missing. Text, rhythm, melody, something. Each of the pieces within this eclectic mix might have a missing piece, but we couldn’t do without a single one.

Featuring a program of works all missing an intrinsic part of choral music, Voyces will present a vibrant palette of contemporary choral sounds, textures and rhythms under Otto, the Blue Whale at Hackett Hall, WA Museum Boola Bardip.

For those who can't make it in person but would still like to attend, Songs Without will be live streamed via our BandCamp and available for 48 hours after the concert. The concert includes Western Australian composer Lydia Gardiner's The Whale and I, inspired by Otto the blue whale and performed with guest artist Shaun Lee-Chen on baroque violin.
