“SPICE BABES” will utilise the 25th anniversary of the SPICE & SPICEWORLD as a vehicle to feature a range of underground queer artists from Naarm/Melbourne. The albums by these 5 spicy British girls hold a special place within the collective queer psyche of this generation.

After successful queer tributes in the past to SIA and Lady Gaga, and the highly acclaimed Jagged Little Pills at Howler back in 2019. Our new event is ready to 'SPICE UP YOUR (post-lockdown) LIFE" & provide a perfect springboard to re-imagine this seminal work with a distinctive Melbourne flavour - celebrating the diversity of our thriving alternative queer community in a full live music & performance art experience.
