Our group uses traditional techniques to create beautiful and unique textiles. This is slow, intentional making uses natural fibres to create handspun yarn which is dyed, woven, felted, knitted and crocheted into exhibition pieces to be viewed and cosy objects for sale.

This exhibition includes our personal projects completed during the last few years, along with those completed as a group. This year will have a vibrant display of felted and handspun flowers and plants. Also a display of embroidery work made with naturally dyed and handspun yarn. Popular items for sale will include warm beanies, scarves, rugs, cushions, children's and babies' wear, and for other crafters, handspun skeins of yarn.

We also have demonstrations of spinning and weaving throughout the day, along with fibre preparation and other displays specific to hand spinning. Our exhibition is free and open to people of all ages so please come along on the first weekend of June. Keep up-to-date with our group's activities and this event via our Facebook page.
