Across the past decade Stephanie Taylor has been capturing audiences locally and throughout Australia with her sophistication as a singer and musician. She is at home on stage – whether this be in the intimate setting of the a cozy club or performing at in the Concert Hall at QPAC with a full orchestra. For her first time playing at The Junk Bar, Steph brings her innovative approach to song with her band of merriment. This gig will be a collection of happy-sad tunes that capture the essence of the holidays. Don’t expect the usual “Christmas Classics,” instead you will hear a collection of tunes by Joni Mitchell, Tim Minchin, Ben Folds, Kacey Musgraves, featuring original songs written by local Brisbane artist, Kieran Stevenson.
