Sunday Sessions: Simone Keane

Hilton Garden Inn Albany welcomes Albany-based songbird, Simone Keane who is known in the music world for her velvety, dulcet tones. It is not uncommon to find audiences leaning in closer to bask in her warm, soulful ambience. She draws inspiration from the abundant beauty of WA’s Southern Coastline, which she believes helps give her unique musical style a touch of mystery and magic.
Simone Keane is the first regional artist ever to win two WAM Song of the Year Awards with a total of five nominations. As well as being an accomplished songwriter, she and her faithful acoustic guitar pay homage to artists of a bygone era including Stevie Nicks, Billie Holiday, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris and Neil Young. Simone is currently recording her fifth album of original folk songs infused with a little bit of country and a little bit of blues.
