Tango Enigmático in concert at Simply for Strings

Tango Enigmatico weave traditional and nuevo tango with fresh Australian perspectives and gripping musicianship for a rollicking good time!

Simply for Strings concerts provide a uniquely welcoming atmosphere for the entire community to experience thrilling live performances, across a full spectrum of music featuring strings.

Our third feature stars for the year are the thrilling Tango Enigmático! A Brisbane-based ensemble specialising in Argentinian tango music, the group's vision is to share this passionate music with as many people as possible, from new arrangements of classics from the golden age of tango, as well as contemporary compositions. The core ensemble is comprised of Flora Wong on violin, Chloe Ann Williamson on double bass and Cara Tran on piano, three established and virtuosic musicians dedicated to promoting and fostering the dissemination of tango music in Australia.
