The Chidlow BBQ Festival (& Chidlow Log Chop)

The Chidlow Tavern is super excited to announce the return of our BBQ Event, ''The Chidlow BBQ Festival and Chidlow Log Chop.'' This eclectic weekend features an Internationally sanctioned KCBS matter series BBQ contest and traditional Log Chop Competition alongside an artisan market showcasing beautiful handmade and bespoke items by some of Perth’s best crafters and creators, plus an outside bar, live music, a Kids Side Show Alley, Billy carts and Camel rides. This event is family-friendly and offers free entry for spectators.

As " The Chidlow BBQ Festival and Chidlow Log Chop” turns 4, we are turning up the heat with more teams, more KCBS representatives & more vendors - which must equal more fun - right!?. But the fun doesn’t stop there. While you grab something to eat head over to the Markets and Kid's entertainment, enjoy the Log Chop, and meet the BBQ teams.

The Chidlow BBQ Festival 2022 presents a Kids BBQ Masterclass! Up In Smoke Catering will teach kids of all ages the basics of BBQ. There will be 4 door prizes up for grabs plus an 'Oklahoma Joe Rambler Coal Grill'! At the end of the class, we will open the gates to the public and let the kids show off their new skills and feed the crowd. Sunday 11th September (11 AM-2 PM) Tickets are $35 per child.

As Saturday afternoon rolls on, don't miss the Log Chop Awards, which will be in the paddock at 4.30 pm (approximately). Head to the Chidlow Tavern for dinner, some drinks, and awesome smooth, bluesy grooves, as Kyra Bee & the illegals, will be rocking live from 7 pm until late.
