The Demographic Dance OFF invite you to respond to their unique stories in a two-part interlaced live show additional and pre-recorded video. ‘Face to Face’ offers a relaxed performance inside of an interactive sensory friendly show.
Experience something new! Watch, reflect and move with the artists silhouettes, beautifully and carefully devised in Native poetic Auslan. ‘Face to Face’ also hosts an interactive interpretive dance narrated with audio describer and a vision impaired artist perspective. The show also will also embed a participatory tactile tour.

The show is based on the experiences of pre pandemic stories of isolation of Deaf/ Disabled and BPoC. Face to Face allows peers, able, hearing, and mainstream audiences to relate to the performers through exploring stories seeded in Poetic Auslan and movement tactile tour and audio description.

A unique sensory friendly sound scape by Iron Rose will be crafted to resonate intermittently through the show to bring to you a relaxed environment for ease of engagement with ‘Face to Face’ and The Demographic Dance OFF'.

With the will to find a common place of identity drawing upon experiences of Covid 19 audiences can expect to literally trace Deaf/ Disabled barriers ‘Face to Face’ and help shift stigma by creating something new together. This is done though The Demographic Dance OFFS evolving exploratory process of embedding ‘Creative Access’ into movement work.

Creative Access tickets:
This show will have traditional methods of access accompanying the interactive Creative Access'. Audiences are advised that this is a movement based and tactile and audio described show any communications inside the event should be kept to a minimum out of respect for the artists and their peer audiences.
