The Grainger Wind Symphony is excited to announce our fourth concert for 2022, English Country Gardens.
The programming of this concert is influenced by the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
Most of the works are British (except for the Ravel). The origins of the works cover England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland and all were written in the 1900's.

Some of the works that will be performed in this program include:

“Crown Imperial: Coronation March” by William Walton.

“Nimrod” by Edward Elgar.

"Prelude, Siciliano and Rondo" by Malcolm Arnold.

Second Suite Op. 28 No.2" by Gustav Holst – March – Song without words – Song of the Blacksmith – Fantasia on the ‘Dargason’.

“Pavane pour une Infante défunte” by Maurice Ravel.

Plus other works by Percy Grainger, Ralph Vaughan and other English composers.

Tickets can be purchased either at the door or online at TryBooking.

For more information, please visit The Grainger Wind Symphony website.

This concert brings you delightful music that is a joy for the ears and the heart. Every garden has the odd exotic plant—we bring you English music with a few exotic pieces
We hope to see you there at St Peter’s Anglican Church, 1038 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill, 3128 to share in the enjoyment of these well known works.
