With something for absolutely everyone, enjoy a relaxing, educational, social, delicious great escape into the beautiful hills of Perth, presented by Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society.

Visiting numerous locations soaked with art, history and nature, The Great Escape: Perth Hills Roadtrip is the perfect getaway day to rejuvenate and inspire, with all costs taken care of.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
All essentials covered in ticket prices, including:

- Luxury coach bus transportation, leaving & returning to Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds

- Entry fees/talks/tours for all destinations

- Choose-your-own lunch (dietary requirements accommodated) + light morning tea, coffee etc

Note:
To avail the Canning Show Volunteers ticket price, you must have volunteered for CAHRS 5+ hours at the 2021 Canning Show.

BUS STOPS:

KALAMUNDA HISTORY VILLAGE: With 14 buildings showcasing the unique history of the region, it's the largest local history museum in Australia. Explore these fascinating insights into life more than 100 years ago, with the friendly members of the Kalamunda Districts Historical Society bringing extra life to the exhibits and surprises.

MUNDARING WEIR: Enjoy the beautiful scenery and serenity whilst having morning tea (light food, coffee and tea provided) at the CY O’Connor Hub picnic area, and have the option to enjoy nature more deeply on a lovely walk around this famous Weir.

NO 1 PUMP STATION: One of Australia’s most significant industrial heritage sites. After an extensive four-year renovation project by the National Trust, marvel at the stories of C.Y. O'Connor and its construction.

JUNIPER GALLERIES: Visit the studio and gallery of iconic Australian artist Robert Juniper and immerse yourself in the evocative landscape that was his home in Darlington. His widow Trish will be present to talk about his art practice and colourful life, view the extensive private collection of Juniper's works, plus enjoy 25+ WA contemporary artists as part of the Holiday Exhibit in the private gallery.

LUNCH: Provided at Juniper Galleries. Just bring funds if you would also like to enjoy a wine from Juniper Estate for $5.

Arrive by 8.45am at Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds (CECS), with the bus strictly departing at 9am.

By purchasing these tickets, you acknowledge you will be able to provide proof of vaccination for the duration of your course/event, and understand no refund will be made available if you cannot do so. However, if the event is canceled, refunds will be provided.
