The Johnnys with White Knuckle Fever & Broham

Oh Sydney. It’s been so long…The Johnnys finally return to the place they started with a promise to party like it’s…1984 and there were no RSA laws.

After a series of false starts (the last in January when a band member was struck down by COVID), the band they couldn’t kill with a semi-trailer full of empties is back at Marrickville Bowling Club on Saturday, March 5 with a score to settle.

More than two years of lockdowns and not-so-splendid isolation will be buried when The Johnnys reunite to party - hard.

It will be a killer bill. Joining them is two-headed raunch monster that’s White Knuckle Fever and the seriously rocking country-rock outfit Broham (headed by Simon Chainsaw of the Vanilla Chainsaws) will open.

The Johnnys will be playing all the classics (the ones they can remember) and the set may be sprinkled with some rarely heard or new gems, as the band will be fresh from a recording session.
