The Peninsula Picnic, Victoria’s most popular coastal picnic returns for the first time in two years and will take place on Saturday 19 March 2022 with an incredible and diverse line-up of musical acts headlined by Australian music royalty and supported by some of the most talented bands and acts in the country.

Bernard Fanning leads the music line-up and will treat music lovers and picnickers to an extended set of his hits, an exciting opportunity for Melbourne and Peninsula fans to see the former Powderfinger frontman perform live.

Fanning will be supported by Boy & Bear bringing their ‘70s inspired pop-folk vibes and signature glorious vocals, Mama Kin Spender who’s rattle, roll and tremble will bring sounds equal parts raw and joyful, Amaru Tribe set to wow with their folktronic tunes and Steph Strings on guitar.

With a selection of the Peninsula’s most acclaimed wineries, breweries and producers including St Andrews Beach Brewery on site, The Peninsula Picnic is the best opportunity to sample some of Australia’s favoured drops to the sweet sounds of some of Australia’s best songwriters.

Sessions with top winemakers, cellar door tastings, market stalls from local artisans and kid’s activities, round out the impressive offering and celebration of local produce and Australian artists, all situated in the leafy surrounds of Mornington Racecourse.

It’s the Peninsula’s favourite food, wine and music gathering. Pack your basket, throw in the picnic rug, get your friends and family together for an overdue true celebration of local wine, food and music sure to feed the very hungry soul.
