Elijah is one of the greatest of all oratorios, with the dramatic story of the Old Testament prophet narrated through magnificent choruses and solos. It was first performed by the choir in 1873 and is one of the major works from the choral repertory.

The Queensland Choir will be accompanied by the Ensemble Q Orchestra and conducted by Kevin Power in the magnificent Main Auditorium of the Brisbane City Hall.
