Toowoomba Busking Festival

TBF is a free festival on Saturday April 30th from 10am-9pm run by the non profit Youth With A Mission Toowoomba.

A festival celebrating music and filling the CBD with some fun and life! We don’t want this to be just another battle of the buskers competition, but our heart is to champion the musicians in our city, give them a voice and value them as artists with something beautiful to give to our community.

There will be live music throughout the day on our main stage at the Grand Central Square as buskers in the competition perform all along Margaret Street from 10-4. Everywhere you turn there will be live music to fill the city!

Buskers will be given between 2-4 performance slots at designated locations in the CBD of Toowoomba. This preliminary round will be old-school busking; just the musicians, their instruments and the city around them.

During the preliminary round, secret judges will be watching the performances and picking the top buskers for the finals. These finals will take place on main stage at Grand Central Square where finalists will get a shot to sway the judges and take home the grand prize of $1,000. While the competition is going on, there will be main stage performances happening leading up to the finals with some amazing bands!
