WEST SET 2022 // Rum Jungle and more // 18+

The City of Maribyrnong is excited to welcome the return of their beloved live music event for its fourth instalment and the reinvention of West Set as part of ‘On The Road Again’, a Victorian Government initiative to support the return of live music events across Victoria. This festival will once again take over the inner west suburb or Footscray with live music programming on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays across the second half of October offering Free Entry for all shows.

This West Set 2022 venue will be a 18+ event. So that we can provide a secure and safe environment for everyone, security will be conducting ID checks where proof of age will be required upon entry. Anyone who is 18+ and fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will be refused entry unless, they are accompanied by an adult.

Rum Jungle
Rum Jungle have emerged as a serious player in one of the country’s most lively music scenes with a refreshing mix of reggae and rock. The four piece group have developed a devoted fanbase off the back of their first two EPs Crazy Days and Sun & Smoke, and have already shared the stage with the likes of Lime Cordiale, Peking Duk, and Hilltop Hoods.
Their most recent single ‘Lately I’ve Been’ saw Rum Jungle take their sound to new heights with laid back vocal melodies and dynamic guitar runs, all while keeping their reggae fusion sound.
After selling out 2 shows at The Gasometer, Rum Jungle are bringing thier psych, reggae and surf rock show to Kindred Bandroom for an under 18 matinee show & 18+ evening show on Saturday Oct 29th.

Four young men who have come up with their own unique sound, bringing a mixture of reggae/indie rock to the table.
