Fall down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, an interactive exhibition celebrating Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale and Alice’s adventures on film.

Hosted by the WA Museum Boola Bardip and made in Melbourne by the expert team at ACMI, this must-see event is on from 16 December until 23 April 2023.

From the earliest optical toys to silent film, animation, live-action, CGI and beyond, Wonderland takes audiences on Alice’s iconic journey through popular culture, demonstrating how artists, filmmakers and fans have returned to her story with the help of screen technologies for over a century.

With your own interactive Lost Map of Wonderland in hand, explore the Hallway of Doors, play at the Queen’s Croquet Ground and take part in a magical Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Along the way you will encounter more than 300 unique objects sourced from around the world including first edition publications and illustrations, animation cels, spectacular costumes, props and more.

Wonderland is the perfect destination for the school holidays with plenty to explore for all-ages and making stations to keep the children delighted.

Immerse yourself in the weird, wondrous, and delightful world of Alice in Wonderland.
