The Phil Walleystack Indigenous Arts Foundation is excited to head to Bunbury on Saturday 15 October for a 90-minute show, aptly named Yarning Singing – A Showcase of Indigenous Talent. Hosted by Australian legend Ernie Dingo with performances by recognised Indigenous artists Sam B, MissGenius, Warangka Band and Phil Walleystack.

The family friendly event held at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC) will also feature arts workshops for young people with the aim to search for new talent. Not-for-profit organisation Phil Walleystack Indigenous Arts Foundation identifies and develops Indigenous talent for the Australian community to enjoy. Established by Phil Walleystack in 2020, the foundation seeks to give Aboriginal youth pathways to education, training and career opportunities in the arts.

Workshop 1 is Drumming and Percussion with Reggie D’Souza and workshop 2 is Acting with Ernie Dingo.

Workshops are FREE and will take place from 4.30pm to 5.30pm at BREC on Friday 14th October (day before show). Both workshops are aimed at high school-aged teens, minimum age is 11 years (ie. 11- 17 years). Parents welcome to stay to watch.
