32 Bars - Launch of Song 17

Since late 2019, Melbourne composer Mark Morand has brought together over 30 Melbourne musicians and 14 Melbourne venues to be part of this epic original Melbourne jazz showtunes project, creating and filming 32 new original Australian jazz showtunes.

Achievements to date include charting three times on the national AMRAP charts, song of the day on the global platform "All About Jazz", and well over half a million YouTube views.

Tonight's show will include the entire 16-song catalogue to date - plus of course the debut of a brand-new song, "Down in Ol' New Orleans".

The 7-piece show band will be joined by three sensational vocalists - Jennifer Salisbury, Yvette Hearn and special guest Julia Sandel.

32 Bars performs publicly no more than 6 times per year - and a song can only ever be debuted once! So come join us for a fabulous evening's entertainment.
