Alex Walker and Daniel O’Toole’s practices reside at the intersection of analogue and digital processes. Building on a common interest in natural phenomena and the properties of light, this exhibition delves into analogue modes of image manipulation and abstraction that inquire into subtle discoveries borne of practical experiments.

‘The lens’ forms a central theme for these experiments, while they re-imagine its form and function as a tool for degrading and distorting the recognisable rather than focusing and clarifying an image; a sort of anti-lens.

Opening Event: Thursday 22 June, 6-8pm
