AusIMM's International Women's Day - Perth

AusIMM's International Women's Day Event Series is returning to Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane once again in March 2023.

The 2023 Series marks AusIMM's fifth year hosting the biggest national event in resources that champions diversity and inclusion and recognises the incredible accomplishments of women.

Join us for a delicious two-course lunch with drinks in Perth and enjoy the inspiring presentation from keynote speaker, Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert. Kylie has lived a reality that most would consider their worst nightmare – falsely imprisoned in an Iranian prison, placed in solitary confinement, with little to no hope of release. After serving more than two years of her sentence, Kylie was brought back to Australia in a prisoner exchange deal in November 2020. She now advocates for other unjustly detained individuals in foreign prisons and shines a light on how international governments can better handle arbitrary detention.

Perth attendees will enjoy an extended post-networking function, as well as access to AusIMM’s new immersive ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ workshop focusing on psychological safety prior to lunch in Perth and Brisbane. Leading industry experts will up-skill attendees by providing the tools needed to drive an inclusive culture and achieve diversity.
