Australian XR Festival 2023 - Public Showcases & Awards

Australian XR Festival 2023 opens December 19th 2023 with public showcases 19 - 21st December at ACMI, Federation Square in Melbourne. The public showcases on Day 1 & 2 include the world's best creative experiences and content with a focus on Gaming, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Digital Art, Creative AI and Animation so join us at ACMI. Day 3 is all about gaming on the big screen in Cinema 1 at ACMI as well as some industry experts who will share some amazing insights! To complete the festival, we end with the Australian XR Festival Awards 2023 - let's celebrate local, national and international success!

Day 1 & 2 (Tuesday 19th & Wednesday 20th December)
We are in Swimburne Studio, ACMI showcasing the best Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Gaming, Digital Art and Creative AI from local, national and international creative teams & individuals!
You can watch amazing creatively on display or you can add the Virtual Reality experiences to evaluate your visit!
We recommend visitors be 12 years or older and if under the age of 15 that they be accompanied by an adult.
General admittance ticket lasts 60 minutes maximum.
General Admission with VR add-on ticket lasts 90 minutes maximum.

Day 3 (Thursday 21st Dec)
Is all about gaming on the big screen in Cinema 1 at ACMI as well as some industry experts who will share some amazing insights!
We also include some animation, digital art, creative AI and more!

To complete the festival we have the Australian XR Festival Awards 2023 from 6pm at ACMI Cinema 1! Come join us and celebrate local, national and international creativity!
