Kiwi comedian Bec Sandys makes her Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut with her show Happy Cabbage, which she's performed to sold out audiences in New Zealand.

Growing up in small town ‘Ashvegas’, Bec has collected a Torana load of stories, and in Happy Cabbage, she takes you for hoon that might blow ya hair back a bit. So strap in 'cos Bec has a lead foot and likes to get air over the bumps!

Bec is a regular support/opening act for Urzila Carlson, is a commentator on Radio Hauraki's Alternative Commentary Collective, made her TV comedy debut on The Project NZ as whip around reporter and writes for NZ comedy panel show 7 Days.

Urzila Carlson describes her as "one of the funniest comics in New Zealand".
