Brisbane Improv Festival 2023

The Brisbane Improv Festival is a celebration of Brisbane's diverse and talented improv community.

Hosted by Big Fork Theatre since the inaugural festival in 2021, it’s now held at our theatre in Fortitude Valley. Celebrating all things improvised comedy, the Brisbane Improv Festival will showcase some of this city’s best and most innovative comedians and performers as well as visiting interstate and international guests across eight nights of live shows and workshops.

Comedy, musicals, surprise guests and more - the Brisbane Improv Festival has something for everyone.

This year’s festival will be held on the 22nd - 29th of July 2023 - we have 23 incredible improvised shows open to the public, and 22 different workshops for improvisers to expand their skills. With shows from around Australia and New Zealand, this festival is not to be missed!
