Devil Electric are back and bringing their unique blend of heavy blues and doom to The Tote, supported by the stoner-riff lords Lamassu and the garage-rock of Doomsday Pilot.

It’s been 3 long years since they’ve headlined a Melbourne show. In that time they released their sophomore album GODLESS, producing the singles ‘All My Friends Move Like the Night’ and ‘Take the Edge Off’ – with a film clip that was created during Melbourne’s lockdown using phone footage and an iPad.

Technically, this should be an album launch show. They owe us one. But while they’re not calling it that - there’s sure to be a lot of new songs in their set.

With new bassist Aiden onboard, a bottle-blond Pip - things have changed up a bit. What hasn’t changed is their driving rhythms, haunting melodies and engaging wall-of-sound live performances.

Get down The Tote on Saturday April 22.
