Join curator of Weaving matter: materials and context, and master weaver, Liz Williamson, for a demonstration of ‘dressing’ a loom - setting up a loom for weaving and an introduction to the basics of weaving on an 8 shaft loom. Drop in throughout the day, or stay for the whole demonstration.
Liz will be at the Centre 11:30am – 2:30pm to demonstrate and chat to people about weaving, her practice and creating designs at the loom. Liz is acknowledged as an established weaver, designer and curator based in Sydney’s Inner West on Gadigal and Wangal lands.
