One of Australia's most celebrated and prolific contemporary musical voices, Ross Edwards’ idiosyncratic and infectious style has defined a generation of classical music. In a jubilant celebration of the Edwards' 80th birthday and his trailblazing career, join us for the highly anticipated world premiere of his Clarinet Concerto No. 2, written for clarinetist David Rowden.

Imbued with the infectious spirit of dance and rhythm, this foot-stomping performance also includes Philip Glass' Violin Concerto No. 2, a visceral homage to the rhythmic forces of nature, performed by violin powerhouse and leader of the Britten Sinfonia, Thomas Gould (UK).
