Family History Open Day

The Family History Open Day will feature:

- Experienced researchers to help you start, or progress, your family tree
- A tour of the rich resources held within the library’s collections
- Representatives from the special-interest groups (such as the DNA; Colonial and Convict Connections; German; English/Irish; Scottish; Writing; Scandinavian; Family History Tech Groups) will be available to help
- Representatives from State Library of Queensland and National Archives of Australia will be on hand.
- Free access to online genealogy sites including Ancestry, Find My Past, FamilySearch, MyHeritage, RootsIreland, British Newspaper Archive, Biographical Database of Australia, The Genealogist and Society of Genealogists

Refreshments and a sausage sizzle will be available.
