FIELD DAY brings together three of Melbourne’s most beloved singer-songwriters for a triple-bill matinee at Shotkickers on Saturday 11 November (doors 2pm).

Georgia Fields, Kerryn Fields and Hannah Acfield share a mutual appreciation for melody… and strikingly similar surnames. Having established themselves as unique and distinct voices in the Melbourne music scene, the trio are finally playing the home-field advantage and teaming up for a sublime afternoon of alt-pop, indie-folk and soulful country. Expect harmonies, singalongs and superfluous field-related puns!

Georgia Fields dreams in fantastic Technicolor” (The Age). Onstage with her band of multi-instrumental-ists, the sonic-shapeshifter combines vocal looping and sample triggers with the dynamic energy of a live rhythm section – conjuring a magnetic art-pop alchemy. Georgia’s third album Hiraeth was released to criti-cal acclaim in November 2022, being enthusiastically embraced by community radio across the country, and receiving a four star review in The Australian who praised the album as “a moment of arrival for Fields.”

Kerryn Fields paints timeless musical portraits that do what others rarely can: bring us home to ourselves. Her latest LP ‘Water’ (Music Victoria’s Folk Album of the Year 2022) is a timeless and deeply-captivating homage to the full spectrum of emotion. Radiating with her trademark warmth, humour, and a deep spiritual connection to the human experience, the NZ-born troubadour has rightfully earned her place as one of our best-loved alt-country and Americana artists.

Hannah Acfield delivers soulful roots music interwoven with luminous threads of gospel and RnB. Her 2021 debut solo album ‘No Light Without Shade’ garnered praise from fans and critics alike, with The Aus-tralian newspaper heralding the release as !a triumph of talent”, and her voice as “an instrument of breath-taking dexterity”. Remarkably, Hannah"s latest live album was recorded and filmed in one take. ‘Live at The Aviary’ showcases her astonishing vocal and classic songwriting, exquisitely supported by Melbourne"s finest instrumentalists.

Get Hannah, Kerryn and Georgia in your field of vision. FIELD DAY rolls into Shotkickers on Saturday 11 November for one show only.
