Join us at the Friendship Park in Queens Garden for an afternoon of healing, as we celebrate hope, harmony and community at the Bunbury Garden Labyrinth. Enjoy trying on a kimono and having your photo taken amongst the blossoms.
There will be food available to pre-order closer to the date, please keep an eye on our Facebook page and events page.
The plum trees will be blossoming and you will be able to try on a kimono, partake in a series of craft workshops from Kite Kinetics, and decorate your lantern.
The lanterns will be launched into the inlet at sunset.
Attendance to this festival is free however lanterns muse be purchased in advance via the ticket link attached.
NOTE: Our lanterns are environmentally friendly and will be collected once the ceremony ends.
What to expect at the Floating Lantern Festival:
Decorate and float your own lantern: $20 (via the ticket link)
Craft workshops for children: $5 (pay at the event)
