Friday Jazz in Yagan Square - Spectacular Spectacular

Swing and sway your way through October as Yagan Square Amphitheatre transforms into a sensational jazz haven every Friday in October for the free Jazz in the Square series!  The heart of Perth will come alive with Perth’s top jazz vocalists, musicians, dancers, and performers each week for a diverse range of unforgettable open-air music events. On Friday October 20, Perth Cabaret Collective Presents 'Spectacular, Spectacular’!

Prepare for a night of spectacle as a family-friendly version of the FRINGE WORLD award-winning show, 'Spectacular, Spectacular,' comes Yagan Square. Prohibition-era cabaret meets showgirl glam, the concert will feature a nine-piece jazz band and a cast of beloved singers, dancers, and drag queens. If you missed it at Fringe, this critically acclaimed cabaret is a must-see in this free show.

Suitable for the whole family there will be a variety of food offerings and soft drinks will be available for purchase.  BYO picnics (but no alcohol please).  Grab a cushion or rug to claim your spot to soak up the sounds of spring with swing in Perth city. No bookings/tickets are required, and the show runs for approximately two hours with breaks.

Kick off your weekend in with live Jazz in the Square and finish the evening with a meal at one of the Yagan Square eateries, including The Shoe, Gangnam, Hiss and Smoke, and Street Eats Eatery.
