Friday Jazz in Yagan Square - The Stories of Swing

The final concert in the  Jazz in the Square series, where Yagan Square Amphitheatre transforms into a sensational jazz haven is Friday 27 October with Swingin at the Savoy Presenting 'The Stories of Swing'. The heart of Perth will come alive with Perth’s top jazz vocalists, musicians, dancers, and performers for an unforgettable open-air music event!

Swingin’ at the Savoy takes you on a journey through the untold stories of swing era legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Cab Calloway, and Louis Armstrong who shaped the history of music. Accompanied by energetic swing dancers, this night promises exceptional music and gripping tales that will leave you cheering for more.

Suitable for the whole family there will be a variety of food offerings and soft drinks will be available for purchase.  BYO picnics (but no alcohol please).  Grab a cushion or rug to claim your spot to soak up the sounds of spring with swing in Perth city. No bookings/tickets are required, and the show runs for approximately two hours with breaks.

Kick off your weekend in with live Jazz in the Square and finish the evening with a meal at one of the Yagan Square eateries, including The Shoe, Gangnam, Hiss and Smoke, and Street Eats Eatery.
