Friday Sundowner Concert Series: Elton, Bowie, Beatles

A free live Friday night Jazz concert presented by The Ellington Jazz Club, will feature Catherine Summers and her 6-piece band belting out the best tunes of Elton John, David Bowie and The Beatles at Yagan Square Amphitheatre on Friday 19th May from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This concert is free, and all are welcome!

This show is a magical history tour of the hits! Expect songs like Starman, Let’s Dance, Hard Day’s Night, Crocodile Rock, Bennie & The Jets, Life on Mars, Help and epic custom-made medleys. Catherine Summers will be bringing these songs to life alongside her band featuring some of Perth’s premiere musicians.

Perth jazz singer and bandleader Catherine Summers is acclaimed for her unique dulcet, versatile voice and her down-to-earth, engaging stage presence. Catherine’s vocals have been likened to a mixture of deep raspy Amy Winehouse soft mellow breathy Diana Krall right through to powerful bluesy Joss Stone. She never fails to deliver playful swinging spirited live-music.
