Georgia Claridge: Open Home Exhibition

Explore memory, identity and the dream of home ownership at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre with the new Open Home exhibition opening.

Presented by EASS Exhibition Award winner Georgia Claridge, Open Home presents evocative and miniature domestic spaces at 1:12 scale.

Formally trained as a painter, Georgia began her journey as an artist with a fascination of everyday objects.

Working across a range of media, her works explore the absurdity of the everyday through the lens of personal narrative. Although she is constantly experimenting with new mediums, Georgia finds herself continually reaching back to the same thematic elements, and how they are emphasised through material choices.

Through this evolution she is delighted to share her works exploring the fragility and impermanence of life, and its reflection in the material.
